National Unity Day

October 12^th 2015 was the 40^th anniversary of National Unity for the people of Western Sahara. As co-author of ‘Settled Wanderers’, a book of poetry – part in translation, part original compositions – from my time on the Saharawi refugee camps near Tindouf, Algeria, I was invited to the camps again to launch the book and take part in the celebrations.
