the foundations of oppression can't be plucked up without the anger of a multitude

The first poem I remember writing was in response to the death of Linda McCartney. At the time, aged 14, I felt like the obituaries I kept hearing were totally overblown. I suppose the poem was a mocking comment on celebrity culture.

Nowadays I write poetry that attempts to find the political in the personal and the personal in the political. Check out the posts under ‘poems‘ to see what I’ve been up to.

If you’re interested in booking me for gigs, workshops, functions, raves, protests etc. please get in touch via the contact page.
