1. On this 5th November at the Victoria, 451 Queensbridge Road, Dalston, E8 3AS, we are preparing a night of poetic fireworks in solidarity with regicides everywhere. So from 8pm, we have two talented spoken word artists for you:

We are championing our champion: a young man with a big future, he’s already performed with the likes of Mark Gonzales, Linton Kwesi Johnson & Buddy Wakefield.

She hails from South London and has performed at Glastonbury festival; with the Royal Shakespeare Company and at a Tedx Talk. She was the 2012 New Generation slam winner and her work has been featuredon BBC Radio 4 Bespoken Word

We also will be running the next round of the open slam. Any style, any person. 3.5minutes, sign up on the door, 1st come, 1st served (but let me know if you are going to be late and you really want to get on the mic).
