1. On this 5th November at the Victoria, 451 Queensbridge Road, Dalston, E8 3AS, we are preparing a night of poetic fireworks in solidarity with regicides everywhere. So from 8pm, we have two talented spoken word artists for you:
Stephen Morrison-Burke: At Wilton’s Music Hall ealier this year, the then Birmingham poet laureate, was voted as the 2013 Hammer & Tongue National Champion. We are championing our champion: a young man with a big future, he’s already performed with the likes of Mark Gonzales, Linton Kwesi Johnson & Buddy Wakefield.
Indigo Williams – Poet, Spoken Word Educator and the founder of the online publication I Shape Beauty. She hails from South London and has performed at Glastonbury festival; with the Royal Shakespeare Company and at a Tedx Talk. She was the 2012 New Generation slam winner and her work has been featuredon BBC Radio 4 Bespoken Word
